June Swindell Moody, 89, died Thursday, August 25, 2011 at Glenvue Nursing Home with her family by her side. She was born May 17, 1922 in Glennville and was a resident of Long County for many years. She was a long time School Bus driver for Long County School System and a beloved and colorful personality in the community.
She is survived by, Children, M.C. Swindell, Sue Arcand, Gwenette Godbee, Annette Szymoniak, Sisters, Jessie Mae Kennedy and Ethel Phillips, 6 Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren, 2 Great Great Grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 PM, Saturday, August 27, 2011at Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held 3:00 PM, Sunday, August 28, 2011 at Little Rock Baptist Church with Rev. Bryan Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
