Karen Cox

Karen L. Cox 64 passed away Sunday, May 15, 2016 at her residence surrounded by her family and under the care of Ogeechee Area Hospice. The Michigan native had lived in Illinois for many years moving to Glennville in 1984. She retired from Civil Service at Ft. Stewart as an Industrial Hygienists and a loving caring wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of Restoration Point Church of God and proceeded in death by her parents, Ulas and Patricia Young Holder, husband William "Bill" Cox and a grandchild.
She is survived by, Children, Brien H. Cox of Memphis, TN
William Lee (Leila) Cox of Glennville, GA
Brother, John Holder of Carbondale, IL
Granddaughter, Abbigale Leah Cox, several nieces, nephew and other relatives also survive.
Visitation will begin 6:00 pm, Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held11:00 am, Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at the Chapel of Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home. Burial will be in Glennville Memorial Gardens.
