Karen Marsh

Metter, GA- Mrs. Karen Marsh age 59, of Metter died early Friday morning at Ogeechee Area Hospice in-patient center in Statesboro. She was born in Camp Le June, North Carolina and has lived in Metter since 1990; and was a member of Open Door Worship Center. She was an LPN at Candler County Hospital. She enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, and kayaking. She is preceded in death by her parents Russell Heisler and Faye Spence Massey.

She is survived by the love of her life, best friend and soul mate William Marsh. Daughters Mandy (David) Wischerath, Becky (Donnie) Loveall all of Metter; son Chris Crunkelton of Buford, GA. Also surviving are her brothers Frank (Charlene) Spence, Jody (Natuier) Deck, and Lester Deck; Sisters Lynn Corbitt, Rachel Pontarolo, Leslie (Mark) Tanner, and Laney Fix. 15 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren also survive.

Visitation will be Saturday, August 13, 2016 from 5pm-7pm at the Metter Chapel of Kennedy-Brannen Funeral Homes.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, August 14, 2016 2:00pm at Kennedy-Brannen Funeral Homes Metter Chapel, with Pastor Ray Woodcock officiating.

Burial will follow at the Rosemary Church Cemetery.
