Katherine Dasher

Kathy Altman Dasher, 69, passed away Saturday, January 28, 2023 at her residence surrounded by her family and under the care of Affinis Hospice. She was born December 21, 1953 in Glennville, Georgia and lived here all of her life. Kathy was a former employee of South Georgia Bank, Advanced Realty and was a farmer’s wife. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Kathy was a faithful, active member of Glennville First Baptist Church where she was on the Crisis Committee and a member of WMU. She is preceded in death by her father, Lindsey H. Altman and mother, Mary Jane Zielinski.

She is survived by:

Husband of 51 years, Vernon Dasher, Jr of Glennville, Georgia

Children, Jake Dasher (Toni)
Jeanie Thompson (Michael) all of Glennville, Georgia

Kathy was also a grandmother to several foster children and is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will begin at 12:30 pm, Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at the chapel of Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Glennville City Cemetery.
