Kathleen Miller Sapp, passed away peacefully on August 11, 2025, at the East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro, Georgia at the remarkable age of 94. She was born on August 27, 1930, in Evansville, Indiana to Arthur and Irene Gantner Miller. She was a loving mother and grandmother whose cherished presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Kathleen dedicated much of her life to her passions, both in business and in her personal endeavors. She owned and operated the Oak Tree Restaurant and Kathleen's Donut Shop while living in Glennville. These establishments were not only popular dining spots but also places where she shared her warmth and kindness with the community. In her later years, while residing in Florida, she continued to exhibit her compassionate nature through her work with home health and as a Certified Nursing Assistant with private nursing companies, providing care and support to those in need.
She will be remembered fondly, not just for her entrepreneurial spirit, but for the love she fostered and the many lives she touched throughout her remarkable journey.
Kathleen is preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Jack Miller, Dude Miller and Juanita Miller.
She is survived by her sons, Joseph Sapp, Jeffery Sapp both of Glennville, Georgia and Johnny Davis of Titusville, Florida. Several grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.
