Kelly Purvis Brown, 62, passed away on January 31, 2025, at Memorial University Medical Center in Savannah. She was born on August 24, 1962, in Savannah, Georgia to Harry Lee and Vernice Todd Purvis and lived in Glennville all of her life.
Kelly was employed with the Georgia Department of Corrections at Georgia State Prison in Medical Records, for many years until retiring.
Throughout her life, Kelly found joy in reading and solving puzzles, but it was her role as a grandmother that brought her the utmost pride. She cherished every moment spent with her beloved grandchildren, Parker and Brooklyn, and they were a significant source of happiness for her.
Kelly is survived by her son, Matt Brown (Felisha), and her cherished grandchildren, Parker and Brooklyn Brown. She also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will begin at 12:30 pm, Saturday, February 8, 2025 at Brannen Family Funeral Services. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, February 8, 2025 at the chapel of Brannen Family Funeral Services. Burial will follow in the Glennville City Cemetery.
