Kenneth Grooms

Kenneth M. Grooms, 61, passed away Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at his residence. He was born July 30, 1959 to Frank and Naomi Strickland Grooms and lived here all of his life. Kenny was a Georgia Army National Guard veteran, worked at MATES on Ft. Stewart and was the Maintenance Supervisor with the Glennville Housing Authority for many years. He enjoyed making and tinkering on things, fishing and working in his yards. Kenny was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by:

Wife, Michelle Grooms of Glennville,  Georgia

Sons, Jeremy Grooms (Jennifer) of Glennville, Georgia
Adam Grooms (Candice) of Reidsville, Georgia

Grandchildren, Clay Grooms (Michelle), Jacob Grooms, Emma Grooms
and Ella Grooms

Great Grandchild, Alex Grooms

Special Friend, Brenda Driggers

Several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.

Visitation will be held 5:00 pm, Thursday, April 15, 2021 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held 12:00 noon, Friday, April 16, 2021 at the chapel of Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home with Elder Clay Gill officiating. Burial will follow at Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery with military honors.

Social distancing of three feet due to Covid 19 will be enforced and masks are asked to be worn on all services. At the Veterans Cemetery only 20 people will be allowed in the Committal Shelter. Any additional funeral party will be asked to wait outside and listen to the service thorough the external speaker system,
