Kenneth Smith

Kenneth Wayne “Chick” Smith, 73, passed away Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at his residence surrounded by his family and under the care of GHC Hospice. He was born November 25, 1947 in Charleston, South Carolina to Robert Horace and Marjorie Peachtree Smith and lived in this area for many years. Chick was a Georgia Army National Guard veteran and employed with Strickland’s Pharmacy for many years. He loved to spend time with his family, fish and hunt. Chick was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather and is preceded in death by his parents and wife, Donna Morris Smith.

He is survived by:

Children, Shanda Smith (John Broughton)
William Smith (Felicia) both of Glennville, Georgia

Nine grandchildren, three great grandchildren and several other relatives also survive.

Visitation will begin at 4:00 pm, Friday, September 17, 2021 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 5:00 pm at the chapel of Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Burial will be private at a later date.

Social distancing of three feet due to Covid 19 will be enforced and masks are asked to be worn on all services.
