Larry Hugh Hardenbrook, peacefully passed away on October 26, 2025, at Camellia Health & Rehab in Claxton, Georgia at the age of 73. He was born on October 31, 1951, to John Raymond and Rosalee Moody Hardenbrook and lived in Glennville all of his life.
Larry was a dedicated individual who spent his career contributing to various fields, including his time with MATES at Ft. Stewart. He also made his mark as a self-employed professional in the tire repair industry, and later as a truck driver for Claxton Poultry.
In addition to his professional achievements, Larry proudly served in the Georgia Army National Guard during Operation Desert Storm, displaying remarkable courage and dedication to his country.
Larry was a simple man and known not only for his work but also for his vibrant personality. He was always willing to help others, embodying a spirit of kindness and generosity that touched the lives of many. His sense of humor was truly infectious, and he brightened the days of those around him with laughter and joy.
Larry is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by numerous cousins and a special friend and caretaker, Bernard Purvis.
The family will receive friends at 12:00 pm, Thursday, October 30, 2025, at Brannen Family Funeral Services. A committal service will be held at 1:00 pm, Thursday, October 30, 2025, at the chapel of the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
