Larry Kerr

Larry A. Kerr, 76 passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Savannah. He was born in Glennville September 10, 1939 to P.J and Mary Strickland Kerr living in Glennville, Tybee Island and Savannah. He was a U.S Army Veteran and retired from Civil Service as a comptroller and deputy comptroller at Ft. Stewart, Signella Naval Base in Sicily Italy, East Cote Naval Base, London England, and Naval Air Facility in Adak Alaska. He was Self Employed with B. Kerr Courier Service in Savannah. He was a member of American Legion Post 154 on Tybee Island and VFW Post 660 in Savannah. He is preceded in death by, parents, a brother, Robert Kerr and a spouse, Marilyn Carr Kerr.

Wife, Brenda Kerr of Savannah, Georgia
Daughters, Donna Lynn (Alan) of Gainesville, Georgia
Amy Kerr Cole (Garron) of Richmond Hill, Georgia
Jill Rolls (Richard) of Columbus, Georgia
Brother, Jack Kerr (Velma) of Midway, Georgia
Grandchildren, Lindy Joseph, Lee Joseph, Stacey Price, and David Price
Five Great Grandchildren, and several cousins, nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm, Saturday, May 14, 2016 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 pm, Sunday, May 15, 2016 at the Chapel of Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home with burial in the Glennville City Cemetery with military honors.
