Laura Reed

Laura Jenkins Eades Reed, 84 passed away Friday, January 13, 2012 at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro. The Atlanta native had lived in this area for many years. She was a retired bookkeeper with Law Engineering in Atlanta and owned and operated Laura's Ceramics in Glennville for many years. She was a member of Glennville Garden Club and Glennville United Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles H. Reed.
She is survived by, Children, Becky Eades (Fred) Laufman of Glennville
Carol Eades Jennings of Glennville
Grandchildren, Brian K. Troha of Glennville
Stephanie L. Ray of Greer S.C.
Laura E. Taylor of Orlando, FL.
Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Memorial Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, January 27, 2012 at Glennville United Methodist Church. Burial will be private.
Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to service at Glennville United Methodist Church.
