Linda Sue John, age 76, of Glennville, Georgia, passed away on June 1, 2025, at Memorial Health University Health Center. Born on May 25, 1949, in Urbana, Ohio, her roots carried the values instilled in her by her parents throughout her life.
Linda dedicated a significant chapter of her career to serving with AAFES at Ft. Stewart, where she worked from 1992 until her retirement in 2005. Her commitment to her work and the people around her was evident in everything she did. Above all, Linda took great pride in her role as a military wife, a title that spoke to her dedication, resilience, and support for her family.
She had a deep love for animals and treasured moments spent with her family. Linda's family was the center of her life. She is survived by her beloved husband, Joseph John, who stood by her side through thick and thin. She is also honored by her sisters, Vicky Kuison of Minnesota, Donna Mount of Phoenix, Arizona, and Judy Russell of Phoenix, Arizona.
Linda's legacy is shaped by the love she provided and the relationships she nurtured. She is predeceased by her parents and her son, Brandon John. Linda's warmth, kindness, and loving spirit will be forever missed by all who knew and loved her.
A visitation will be held in her memory on June 9, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Brannen Family Funeral Services, located at 206 N Veterans Blvd, Glennville, GA 30427. This will be followed by a funeral service, which will begin at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in Glennville Memorial Gardens.
Linda Sue John life was a testament to love, strength, and the enduring bonds of family. She will always be remembered for her generous spirit and the indelible mark she left on the hearts of those she loved.
