Mabel Lang Simmons, 79, passed away Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at Glenvue Health and Rehabilitation. She was born April 16, 1939 in Jacksonville, Florida to Casey and Mabel Osteen Lang and lived in Jacksonville and Glennville most of her life. She was a homemaker and loved sending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed playing cards, dancing and going on cruises. She is preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Auther, Bobbie, Curtis.
She is survived by, Daughter, Ellen Cook of Statesboro, GA
Son, Alvin Jones of Jacksonville, FL
Brother, Terry Lang of Jacksonville, FL
Grandchildren, Michael Miller, Jeffrey Cook, Crystal Moody, Tina Cook
8 Great Grandchildren, Makayla Cook, Hunter Hatfield, Gavin Cook, Conner Cook, Alyssa Cook, Hailey Cook, Draven Cook, Alexis Miller, several nieces and nephews also survive.
Graveside Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, December 22, 2018 at Oak Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Millen, GA.
