Margie F. Moore, 87 passed away Friday, August 12, 2016 at Community Hospice inpatient center in Vidalia. She was born April 26, 1929 in Cobbtown to L.L. and Lelia Youmans Moore and lived in Cobbtown all of her life. She was retired from Oxley Manufacturing Company as a seamstress. She was a lifelong member of Connors Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday School Teacher, Chairperson of Cemetery Committee and Community and Church Historian.
She is survived by,
Siblings, Naomi Molchan of Deland, FL
Rev. Lamar Moore (Louise) of Lexington, NC
Marie Cooper of Brunswick, GA
Rev. Ellis Moore (Betty) of Evans, GA
Roger Moore (Colette) of Bellville, GA
Several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.
Visitation will begin at 2:00 pm, Sunday, August 14, 2016 at Connors Baptist Church. Funeral Services will follow at 3:00 pm at Connors Baptist Church with Reverends Lamar Moore and Ellis Moore officiating. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery.
