Marion Alex Thomas

Marion Alex Thomas, passed away on May 3, 2025, at the age of 59. A beloved family man and passionate painter was born on December 5, 1965, in Glennville, GA to Allen and Mary Laverne Watson Thomas.

Throughout his life, Alex found joy in his role as a father and grandfather. His proudest accomplishments were undoubtedly his children and grandchildren, for whom he served as a constant source of support and encouragement. His commitment to being present for his family was matched only by his enthusiasm for spending time together, often gathered for family gatherings that he held dear.

As a talented painter, Alex expressed his creativity and love for the painting through his work. Those who knew him admired not just his painting abilities but also the warmth and integrity that he brought into every relationship and endeavor.

Alex is preceded in death by, parents, brother, Richard Thomas and step-son, Justin Woolard.

He is survived by:

Wife, Donna Adams of Glennville, Georgia

Son, Dylan Thomas (Barbie) of Hinesville, Georgia

Step-Son, Joshua Ansell of Glennville, Georgia

Brothers, Daniel Thomas (Lisa) of Glennville, Georgia     and Allen Leon Thomas (Angela)

Two grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive.

A celebration of life will be held in his honor at 2:00 pm on Thursday, May 8, 2025, at the chapel of Brannen Family Funeral Services.
