Mary Daniel

Glennville,
Mary Buxton Daniel, 93, passed away Friday, April 16, 2010 in Savannah. She was born in Girard, Georgia April 3, 1917 to Judah Benjamin Buxton and Louise Odum Buxton. She was a graduate of South Georgia Teachers College, and taught school in Bellville, Georgia where she met her husband, the late Cecil K. Daniel. She was a resident of Glennville, Georgia since 1949 and a teacher in Glennville in the public school system for many years. She was a member of Glennville United Methodist Church, the Ladies Church Circle and Cowart Sunday School Class. She loved flowers and was a long time member of the Glennville Garden Club. She is preceded in death by her husband, Cecil K. Daniel, Sr. a son Julian Bird Daniel, a brother, and three sisters.

Buxton "Bucky" Laing Daniel both of Savannah

Sister, Eloise Jenkins of Augusta

Six Grandchildren, Four Great Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM, Sunday, April 18, 2010 at Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 pm Sunday, April 18, 2010 from the Chapel of Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Brewton Cemetery, Hagan, GA.
