Matthew Anthony Anderson, 31, passed away on December 5, 2023, at his residence. He was born on July 29, 1992, in Savannah, Georgia to Anthony and Amanda Randall Anderson and lived here all his life. Matthew was a graduate of Star Christian Academy's class of 2010.
Matthew had a wide range of interests and hobbies. He was an avid NASCAR fan, always cheering on his favorite driver, Kyle Bush, WWE Wrestling, Atlanta Braves baseball, Atlanta Hawks basketball, Atlanta Falcons football and a devoted fan of the Georgia Bulldogs.
In addition to being a sports enthusiast, Matthew had another passion that brought him closer to people from all over the world – gaming. With a close-knit group of online friends, he explored virtual worlds and created lasting bonds through shared adventures in various video games. Matthew's gaming community provided comfort and companionship in both good times and bad.
He is preceded in death by, his mother, Amanda "Mandy" Anderson, paternal grandfather, Pop Anderson, paternal grandmother, Shirley Sapp and maternal grandmother, Ramona "Moni" Kitchens.

Sandra Bradham (Regan) of Collins, Georgia
Paternal Grandmother, Cherylene Anderson of Glennville, Georgia
Maternal Great Grandmother, Rosemary Pinckney of Augusta, Georgia
Special Aunt, Ginger Brown of Ormond Beach, Florida
Several uncles, nieces, nephews and extended family also survive.
Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm, Friday, December 8, 2023 at Brannen Family Funeral Services. Graveside Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, December 8, 2023 at Glennville City Cemetery.
