Mavis Banks

Metter- Mavis Baggett Banks 80 died Saturday November 6, 2010 under the care of
Ogeechee Area Hospice.

The native and life long resident of Metter was a member of the United Methodist Church for over 60 years, and was a graduate of University of Georgia with a degree in journalism. Mavis was a member of the Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority, Willow Lake Country Club and was a great cook, her family was her life and she loved those Georgia Bulldogs. Preceded in death by her parents Clifford William (CW) and Evelyn Jordan Baggett and her husband Mitchell Dekle Banks.

Mike (Rhonda) Banks of Duluth, Grandchildren; Jill Culpepper, Ric deShaw, Allie Banks
Macie Banks, Sister In Law Patty Banks Duff of Elizabeth City and her cat Nicholas.

Funeral services 1:00 Tuesday at the Metter United Methodist Church with burial in the
Lake Cemetery, visitation 6-8 Monday at the funeral home. Remembrance to Ogeechee
Area Hospice 200 Donehoo St. Statesboro, GA. 30458
