Maxine Dean

Maxine K. Dean, 90, of Metter died Friday at Candler County Hospital after a long illness.
She was a native of Gallipolis, Ohio and had lived in Metter since 1980 coming from Pittsburgh, PA. She was a member of the Metter Presbyterian Church and loved playing golf at Willow Lake Country Club.

She was preceded in death by her husband; Cal Dean, one daughter and one brother.

Surviving is one son, Stephen (JoAnne) Fleischman, of Egg Harbor Township, NJ and special friend Lytell Calhoun of Metter, three grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, September 4, 2012, 11 am. at the Lake Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday evening 6-8 at the funeral home.
