Michael Haze Futch

Michael Haze Futch, a beloved brother, passed away on March 11, 2026, at Glenvue Health and Rehab under the care of Community Hospice. Born on October 17, 1957, in Brunswick, Georgia, and lived in Glennville, Georgia most of his life.

Michael worked as a diesel mechanic, using his skills and expertise to solve challenges and support those around him. His commitment to his profession earned him the respect of colleagues and clients alike. Through hard work and determination, he built a reputation as a reliable and skilled mechanic.

Beyond the shop, Michael had a zest for life that truly shone through his hobbies. He had a profound love for Harley Davidsons, embracing the freedom and adventure that came with motorcycle riding. Michael also cherished spending time with children, taking delight in their laughter and curiosity about the world. His gentle and caring nature endeared him to many, and he brought joy to the lives of countless young ones who were fortunate enough to be in his presence.

Throughout his life, Michael Futch touched the hearts of those around him with his kindness, humor, and passion. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. As we remember Michael, we celebrate a man who dedicated his life to his work and the joy of those he loved. 

Michael is preceded in death by his parents Abrin Ellis Futch Sr., Myrtle Lee Futch, and brother Abrin Futch Jr.

He is survived by siblings Kelvin Futch (Kathy), Sheila Johnson (BJ), Dianne Norris, Leanne DeLoach, and sister-in-law Deborah Futch.

He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and special friend, Tony Weaver of Ellaville, GA.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
