Michael Brandon Sugg, 39, a kind and selfless individual, passed away on August 21, 2023, at his residence surrounded by his loved ones, under the care of Georgia Hospice Care after an extended illness. He was born on October 4, 1983, in Ft. Smith, Arkansas to Ronald and Mildred Elaine Hutto Sugg and lived in Reidsville most of his life.

Throughout his life, Michael held various careers. He was employed with Bland Farms and Screven County Corrections. Additionally, he generously contributed his time and effort to assist his sister with her bakery business at River Shack Sweets.

Michael's compassionate spirit extended beyond his professional life. He continuously put others before himself and went out of his way to make a positive impact on the lives of those around him.

In addition to his career and kind nature, Michael had a diverse range of hobbies and interests that brought him joy. He cherished the company of a good book, loved immersing himself in literature and writing poetry. Puzzles and video games provided another outlet for his creative mind. Spending quality time with his family was of utmost importance to him, as it allowed him to express his love and build lasting memories together.

An avid enthusiast of mythology and medieval times, Michael indulged in studying these subjects extensively. His passion led him to develop skills in creating chainmail and handcrafted jewelry.

Among his proudest accomplishments was being a self-proclaimed Viking, embodying the courage, strength, and honor associated with that historical culture.
