Mildred Durrence

Mildred "Midge" Wilson Durrence passed away Thursday, February 16, 2017 at Glenvue Health and Rehabilitation. She was born in Glennville August 22, 1920 to J. Linton Wilson and Susie Dubberly Wilson and lived here all of her life. She was a homemaker and loving caring wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother and whom was affectionately known by all as Mammy. She was the oldest member of Loves Chapel Primitive Baptist Church where she was a member of the Adult Sunday School Class. She is preceded in death by her parents, step mother, Julia B. Wilson, husband, Charlie "Mutt" Durrence a son, Charles Durrence, sisters, Lois Durrence, Leona Sands, brother, Earl Wilson, Granddaughter, Karla Dixon Beecher.
She is survived by, Daughters, Carolyn D. Dixon of Glennville, GA
Suzanne (Lou) Coons of Fairfax ,VA
Sister, Reba (Jimmy) Kennedy of Reidsville, GA
Grandchildren, Kanda (O.H.) Daniel, Tracie (Robin) Stewart, Devin (Christi) Durrence, Krista (Greg) Keysar. Great Grandchildren, Cliff (Candice) Kicklighter, Erin (Josh) Masters, Ryne Stewart, Tyler Stewart, Madison Durrence, Morgan Durrence, Ellie Keysar, Evan Keysar Great Great Grandchildren, Dixon, Isaac, Brenna, Karly Kicklighter, Hines Masters, special niece, Dana Durrnece several other nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm, Sunday, February 19, 2017 at Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, February 20, 2017 at Loves Chapel Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Clay Gill and Elder W.H. Durrence officiating. The body will be taken to the Church at 10:00 am to lie in state. Burial will be in Loves Chapel Church Cemetery.
