Mr. Larry Mcdaniel

Mr. Larry Joe McDaniel, 70, passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2020 at his residence under the care of Ogeechee Area Hospice surrounded by his loving family. He was born on August 9, 1949 to Mr. Woodrow and Mrs. Melba Brantley McDaniel in Metter. He retired from R.R Donnelly after many years of loyal service. He was of the Christian faith and in his spare time enjoyed shrimping at Harris Neck and spending time with his dogs, Daisy and Baron. He was a loving caring husband, father and very much loved by his nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother and sister-in-law, Bobby McDaniel (Glenda).

Daughter, Misty McDaniel (Michell Lawrence) of Ellabell

Brother, Billy “Tank” McDaniel (Glenda) of Cobbtown

Brother-in-law, Ronnie M. Bragdon (Debra) of Brunswick

Special family, Dawn Page of Cobbtown and Chris Jarriel of Metter

An abundance of nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 21, 2020 beginning at 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 22, 2020 at the Metter Chapel of Kennedy-Brannen Funeral Homes, with Rev. John Collins officiating. Burial will follow at the Lake Cemetery. All social distancing requirements will be enforced at all the services.
