Mrs. Mickey Coffey

September 23, 1957 — January 13, 2021

Mrs. Mickey Hutson Coffey, 63, of Metter, passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her loving family and under the care of Regency Southern Care Hospice. Mrs. Coffey was born on September 23, 1957 to Mr. Bill and Mrs. Betty Jean Fordham Hutson Shelton in Savannah, GA and later moved to Metter to be closer to her family. She was a homemaker and was of the Christian faith. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing cards, especially Canasta, loved to go on cruises with her family and spend time with her family. She was a loving and  caring sister, mother, and grandmother. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert W. Coffey, Sr., and siblings, Danny Fordham and Pat Hogan.

She is survived by:

Son: Robert W. “Wesley” Coffey, Jr. (Ashley) of Sumter, SC.

Siblings: Jeff Hutson (Tamara) of Metter

Kathy Hogan (Frankie) of Metter

Special Friend and Companion: Denny Hogan of Metter

Grandchildren: Katelyn “Katie” Coffey, Alexis Matthews and RJ Coffey.

Several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 15, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Kennedy-Brannen Funeral Home in Metter. Graveside funeral services will be conducted Friday, January 15, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Greenwich Cemetery in Savannah with Bro. Eddy Jones officiating. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic all CDC social distancing guidelines of six feet between others will be enforced, masks are required.

Pallbearers: Danny Cardell, Wayne Brown, Ty Hutson, John Payne, Jason Hadden and Alex Rios.

Remembrances may be made to the Jake Koeingsdhorf Foundation, P.O Box 401 East Islip, New York 11730-0401.
