Ned F.DeLoach, 84, passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at Ogeechee Area Hospice He was born October 9, 1937 in Glennville to Willie F. and Annie Blocker DeLoach and lived here all of his life. He was a member of the Georgia National Guard for eleven years and a building contractor for many years. He served as Tattnall County Sheriff from 1989 to 1996, was a member of the Philadelphia Lodge # 73, a member of Alee Shrine Temple and Tattnall County Shrine Clubs. He loved to talk to his friends and be with his family. He was a member of Harmony United Methodist Church and the Sunshine Sunday School Class. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Faye DeLoach, brothers, J.C., George Dale “Bugs” and Dayne DeLoach.
He is survived by wife of 61 years, Carolyn DeLoach of Glennville, Georgia
Children, Carla Waters (Michael) of Glennville, Georgia
Neil DeLoach (Amber Walton) of Glennville, Georgia
Grandchildren, Noah DeLoach, Annie Waters, and Raleigh Waters, several nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will begin at 1:30 pm, Friday, June 10, 2022 at Harmony United Methodist Church. Funeral Services will follow at 3:00 pm, Friday at the Harmony United Methodist Church with Rev. Clay Loadman officiating. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery.
Pallbeares will be Shawn Stubbs, Dane Dasher, Jeff Rogers, Lew Durrence, Scott Rogers, John Thompson and Alex Rogers.
Honorary Pallbearers will be members of Law Enforcement and Department of Public Safety in attendance.
