Opal Stanfield Wilson, 76, passed away Friday, December 5, 2025 at her residence surrounded by her family and under the care of Regency Southern Care Hospice. She was born January 31, 1949 to Arthur (Joe) and Annie Dinkins Stanfield and lived in Glennville all of her life. She was retired from the Tattnall County Road Department after 28 years of service. She loved to be outdoors hunting, fishing and taking care of her garden, watching her flowers grow. She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, J.E. Standfield, Lannie Stanfield, Jerry Stanfield, Charles Stanfield, sisters, Katie Ruth Williams, Irene Beck, Joan Summers, Shirley Lambert.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Larry Wilson of Glennville, GA
Daughter, Angie Wilson, (Johnny) of Glennville, Ga
Grandson, Dusty “Cody” Dakota Wilson, Grandson in-law, Nathan Cortez
Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at Brannen Family Funeral Services. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 PM, in the chapel of Brannen Family Funeral Services. Burial will be private.
