Oreta Bishop
April 27, 1912 — February 21, 2012
Cobbtown Oreta Coleman Bishop, 99, died Tuesday evening at Azalea Nursing Home after an extended illness. She was a life long resident of Tattnall County and the oldest living member of the Cobbtown Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing, gospel music and crossword puzzles.
She was predeceased by her husband Fred Edward Bishop, one brother and two sisters.
Surviving, one daughter Judy (Derrell) Lynn of Cobbtown. One sister Annie C. Smith of Metter, one grandson Chad (Tonya) Lynn of Lyons.
Graveside funeral services will be conducted Thursday, February 23, 2012, 11:00 am at Sunlight Cemetery in Cobbtown. Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the Cobbtown Chapel.
The family requests remembrances be made to the Sunlight Cemetery Fund, P.O. Box 569, Collins, Georgia 30421.
