Patricia Bennett Brannen, 79, entered her heavenly home on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at her residence under the care of Ogeechee Area Hospice. Born on April 3, 1946, in the quaint town of Claxton, Georgia, she lived in Glennville all of her life.
Pat embodied warmth, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to the welfare of others, both in her personal and professional life. She was a cherished matriarch and dedicated healthcare professional.
With a distinguished career spanning 33 years as a nurse for the State of Georgia, Pat exemplified the true essence of service. She devoted her life to caring for those in need, earning the respect and gratitude of countless patients and colleagues alike. Pat’s academic accomplishments include a Master’s Degree in Public Health, which further enriched her knowledge and ability to impact her community positively.
In addition to her professional endeavors, Pat was a beacon of spiritual guidance and enthusiasm. For fifty years, she lovingly taught Sunday School, nurturing the hearts and minds of generations. Her faithfulness as a member of the Glennville First Christian Church was a testament to her deep-rooted beliefs and the significant role faith played in her life.
Pat's zest for life extended beyond her demanding career and community contributions; she was a passionate traveler and an avid camper, relishing the beauty of nature and creating unforgettable memories with her family. Most importantly, Pat found profound joy in the company of her family, incredibly proud of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. They were her greatest achievement, spending countless moments together that enriched her life and theirs.
Pat is preceded in death by her mother, Emily Bennett Lubeck and her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Edith and Ben Brannen.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 am, Friday, January 9, 2026 at Brannen Family Funeral Services. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, January 9, 2026 at the chapel of Brannen Family Funeral Services. Burial will follow in Beards Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
