Patricia Kicklighter Joyal, 74, passed away on December 12, 2025, at the HCA Florida Memorial Hospital. She was born on August 23, 1951, in Reidsville, Georgia to William Darvin and Dolores Easton Kicklighter and lived here all of her life.
A proud graduate of Glennville High School, Patricia embarked on a diverse career path, demonstrating dedication and skill in various roles. She was employed with the Mascot Pecan Company, where she contributed her talents to the candy kitchen and shipping department. Her professional journey continued at Rite Aid as the store manager, and she later shared her passion for gifts and customer service at the Drug Store in Reidsville, working in the gift department.
Beyond her professional achievements, Patricia found joy in her hobbies and interests. She was an avid crafter, creating beautiful floral arrangements and decorations that showcased her artistic flair. Painting was another of her cherished pastimes, a medium through which she expressed her creativity. Patricia held a special place in her heart for children and embraced the rewarding role of foster parent. Her grandchildren and great grandchild brought her immense joy, and she cherished every moment spent with them.
Patricia's proudest accomplishments revolved around her family, the cornerstone of her life. Together with her husband, she explored the world of woodcrafts, combining their skills in creation with their shared experiences. This partnership further strengthened the bonds they held dear.
Patricia was a member of Birdford Baptist Church and is preceded in death by her parents, paternal grandparents, Ross & Mamie Kicklighter and maternal grandparents, Donald & Gracie Easton.
She is survived by:
Husband of 54 years, Everett Joyal, Daughter, Aimee Ray (Scott), Sister, Joan Kicklighter Waters, Grandchildren, Jonathon Ray (Chelsea), Anthony Ray and a Great Grandson, Jaxtyn Scott Ray. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
A visitation will be held at 5:00pm, Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at Brannen Family Funeral Services. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 noon, Thursday, December 18, 2025 at the chapel of Brannen Family Funeral Services. Burial will follow in the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
