Patricia Ann Taylor, passed away on December 17, 2025, at BayHealth Medical Center in Delaware, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and compassion that will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She was born on June 6, 1943, in Brunswick, Georgia to Albert Lester and Mildred Pearce Hurd and lived in Savannah and Collins, Georgia until moving to Delaware to be closer to her family.
Throughout her life, Patricia was known for her warm and nurturing spirit. As a homemaker, she dedicated herself to creating a loving and supportive environment for her family and friends. Her kindness and willingness to always help others distinguished her character and made a lasting impact on those around her.
In addition to her exemplary role in the home, Patricia was an active member of the G.W.R.R.A Faithriders, where she embraced her love for riding, honoring Veterans and sharing experiences with fellow members. Her passion for this community reflected her ability to connect with people from all walks of life.
She is preceded in death by, her parents, step-mother, Ruth Hurd, sister, Nancy Lee Hurd, daughter, Theresa Taylor and husband, Clarence Taylor.
Patricia is survived by: children, Steven Taylor (Roxane) of Mississippi, Patricia Taylor of Maryland; six grandchildren; sister, Betty Slacum of Delaware; brother, David Pearce (Sharon) of Delaware; step-brother, Francis Cahall; several nieces and nephews.
Patricia’s interment will take place at 1:00 pm at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Glennville, Georgia, on February 12, 2026.
