Ralph Edward Simmons



Metter- Mr. Ralph Edward Simmons, of Metter born April 21, 1940 passed away November 2, 2015 at Golden Isles Hospice in Brunswick, Georgia. He is preceded in death by his mother and father, two sons and a daughter. Mr. Simmons retired from the United States Naval Service in December of 1976, and was a Viet-Nam Veteran. He has lived in Metter for the last 32 years.



Mr. Simmons leaves behind a daughter, Melinda (Wayne) McCarty, of Brunswick, two brothers Jack (Penny) Simmons, of Metter, and Roman (Judy) Simmons of Colerain, North Carolina. Also surviving is his sister Doris (Edward) Bero of Metter; grandsons Lance Mitchum and Nicholas Widerman; along with 4 great grandchildren all of Brunswick.



A memorial service with full Military Honors will be conducted on Saturday November 14, 2015 at 11:00am at the Metter Presbyterian Church.



Burial will private.
