Reginald Purvis

Reginald H. Purvis 84 passed away Monday, January 29, 2018 at Glenvue Nursing Home surrounded by his family and under the care Ogeechee Area Hospice. He was born January 29, 1934 in Glennville it Oscar T. and Gladis Durrence Purvis. He was a U.S Air Force Veteran and a retired Truck Driver. He was employed several years with Glennville Electric Motor and a Farmer. He loved to work in his garden and grow vegetables for his family and friends. He was a member of Watermelon Creek Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Hannah Purvis Folsom and Juanell Purvis Sikes, brother, Mitchell Purvis
He is survived by, Daughter, Sharon Purvis Antu of San Antonio, TX
Sister, Dorothy "Dot" Brown of Glennville, GA
Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM, Thursday, February 1, 2018 at Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 PM, at the Chapel of Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Miller officiating. Burial will be in Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery with Military Honors.
