Robert David Dubberly, 65, passed away on November 3, 2023. He was born on September 5, 1958, in Vidalia, Georgia to Robert and Joan Swindell Dubberly and lived here all of his life.
David's journey through life was marked by his remarkable accomplishments and diverse experiences. He graduated from Glennville High School in the Class of 1976 and went on to further his education at the Evinrude Outboard Motors School and John Deere Tech School. With his impressive skills and knowledge in mechanics, he was well known to fix everybody's anything.
But David was much more than just a skilled mechanic. His warm heart and genuine nature made him an extraordinary human being. He possessed a selflessness that knew no bounds and extended to everyone he encountered. Whether it was assisting a stranger in need or lending a helping hand to neighbors, friends and family, David accomplished it all without ever expecting anything in return.
His friends and loved ones could always count on him, no matter the circumstances or his own responsibilities. Regardless of where he was or what he was doing, David would drop everything to be there for those who needed him most. This steadfast commitment demonstrates the depth of his character and the true measure of his loyalty.
David had an infectious sense of humor that brought joy to others. He lived to share laughter and jokes with those around him. His quick wit and jovial nature brightened countless lives throughout his journey. A simple encounter with David often transformed into a memorable experience filled with smiles and laughter. He even became known as Uncle David to everybody who knew him.
He was previously employed with Wilson Brothers and a skilled mechanic for Dixon Motors, and owner and operator of Dubberly Timber for many years, leaving behind a legacy of hard work, selflessness, and an unwavering dedication to helping others. A true jack of all trades, David found great pleasure in various hobbies including farming, hunting and fishing.
David will be truly missed by all who knew him. He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Dubberly and son, Chris Dubberly.

Several great nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive.
Visitation will begin at 12:00 noon, Monday, November 6, 2023, at Brannen Family Funeral Services. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, November 6, 2023, at the chapel of Brannen Family Funeral Services. Burial will follow in Loves Chapel Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
