Robert Elmo Price, 70, of Prattville, Alabama passed away Thursday, March 3, 2022.

Bob was born on July 23, 1951 in Savannah, Georgia. He was a 1969 graduate of Jenkins High School, and he went on to graduate with a BA in Forestry from the University of Georgia in 1974. Bob began his career with Union Camp in Savannah which eventually led him to Prattville, Alabama where he and his family have lived for the last 28 years.

Bob’s favorite pastimes were hunting, fishing and watching his grandsons play sports. He was an avid Georgia Bulldog fan. Bob will forever be remembered for his fun-loving personality and always making everyone he met feel special.

He is predeceased by his parents, Elmo and Annie Lou Price; stepfather, Ralph Wilson, father and mother-in-law Jack and Earldine Tootle, and sister-in-law Jennifer Tootle Mims.

Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Beverly Tootle Price of Prattville, AL,  daughter, Ashley Price Hall, and grandsons Walton Fleming Hall, Jr. and Robert Luke Hall. Bob leaves behind an identical twin brother, William Addison Price (Sheila) of Brunswick, Georgia, with whom he shared a special bond, along with his brothers, Buford Wimberly Price (Jenine) of Skidaway Island, Georgia, John Alden Price (Linda) of Macon, Georgia, Randy Shellman Price (Janeen) of Oak Ridge, North Carolina, and brother-in-law Paul Mims of Lincolnton, Georgia. Bob was loved and adored by his many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at 1:00pm CST at the First United Methodist Church of Prattville with Dr. Tony McCullough officiating.  A visitation and reception will immediately follow the service in Pratt Hall.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to First United Methodist Church of Prattville or St. Jude Children’s Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee
