Ruby Lee Reddish, affectionately known as Margie, passed away on November 19, 2025, at Evans Memorial Hospital. Born on April 19, 1954, in Savannah, Georgia, to Leroy and Mildred Wilkerson Collier, Margie was a devoted homemaker whose life was a testament to the love and care she showed her family.
Margie embraced a homebody lifestyle, finding fulfillment in nurturing her loved ones and cultivating a warm environment. Among her many hobbies, she loved to cook, fish and garden, always eager to connect with nature. Music was also a significant part of her life; she enjoyed listening to her favorite tunes, dancing with joy, and reveling in moments spent with her K-9 companions. Margie delighted in playing cards and solving puzzles, activities that brought her closer to her family and friends.
Margie was celebrated for her loving nature as a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She cherished her role within her family, always placing their needs and happiness above her own. Her proudest accomplishments revolved around the joy and warmth of her family, who held a special place in her heart.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Hugh Morris Reddish and numerous siblings.
Margie is survived by, her adoring children, Lisa Dykes (Alan) of Ludowici, Georgia, Rhonda Baxter (John) of Glennville, Georgia, Hugh "Buddy" Reddish of Ludowici, Georgia, the apples of her eye, her granddaughters, Shanea Screen (Robert "Bo"), Carysn Lynn (Chandler) and her precious great grandsons, Khane and Heath. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm, Sunday, November 23, 2025, at Grace Baptist Church. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 pm on Sunday at Grace Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
