Sandra Rigdon

Metter - Sandra Kitchens Rigdon, 68, died Friday evening at St. Joseph's hospital in Savannah. She was a retired seamstress and worked for many years at Twin City Manufacturing. She was a member of New Beulah Methodist Church, loved her family, grandchildren and her dogs, little man, chewy and sport.

Survivors: husband, Carl Rigdon of Metter; daughters, June Marie (David) Lacy of Zebulon, GA, Jean (Ricky) Salter of Metter, brothers, M.H. (Lawana) Kitchens of Metter, sister, Faye (Johnny) Wells of Twin City, special granddaughter and caregiver, Brandy Love (Chris) Parker of Metter, five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, June, 20, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. at Rosemary Primitive Baptist Church with Rev. Gordon Dukes and Rev. Donna Ashworth officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The body will lie in state one hour prior to funeral service.

Visitation will Sunday evening 6-8 p.m. at Kennedy-Morgan-Brannen Funeral Homes, Metter chapel.
