Sara Lain

Sara V. Lain, 88, died Monday, April 18, 2011 at Ogeechee Area Hospice in Statesboro. The Tarrytown native had lived in this area most of her life and was a homemaker and seamstress for many years. She was a member of Glennville First United Pentecostal Church.
She is survived by:
Son & Daughter-in-Law:Melvin & Jenny Sweat of The Villages, Florida
Grandchildren:Teri (Tim) Wood of Perry, Georgia & Shannon Sweat of Atlanta, Georgia
Great-Grandson:Luke Rivera of Perry, Georgia
Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will begin at 12:30 pm, Wednesday, April 20, 2011, at Glennville First United Pentecostal Church. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 pm at Glennville First United Pentecostal Church with Rev. James M. Holland officiating. Burial will be in Glennville City Cemetery.
