Shava Durrence

Shava Jean Bland Durrernce, 74, passed away Thursday, September 22, 2016 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Savannah. She was born November 11, 1941 to Tully M. and Georgia Bell Daughtry Bland and lived in Glennville most of her life. She was a retired beautician and homemaker. She enjoyed crafts, building grapevine wreaths and collecting antiques. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and member of Loves Chapel Primitive Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Charles E. Durrence.

Children: Tracie Stewart (Robin) of Glennville
Devin Durrence and Christie Callanan of Glennville
Sisters: Joanne Barrow of Glennville
Leah Burkhalter of Glennville
Brothers: Maurice Bland (Joyce) of Broxton
Ricky Bland (Katina) of Glennville
Grandchildren: Ryne and Tyler Stewart, Madison and Morgan Durrence
Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will begin at 5:30 pm, Saturday, September 24, 2016 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon September 25 at 4:00 pm from the chapel of Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home with Rev. David Sands and Denver Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Loves Chapel Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Colt Bland, Richard Burkhalter, Brian Bland, Zack Taylor, Jesse Brannen, Spencer Brannen.
Honorary Pallbearers will be member of the Class of 1959 of Glennville High School.
