Sherry Howard Rowe, 83, passed away peacefully at her residence on May 21, 2025, under the compassionate care of Regency Southern Care Hospice. Born on September 9, 1941, in Long County, Georgia, Sherry touched countless lives throughout her journey of life.
Sherry was a beloved homemaker and dedicated daycare worker for the Tattnall County School System. She was known affectionately as "Mema" to everyone, embodying a spirit of warmth and kindness that made her home a welcoming haven for the children she cared for. She cherished her role as a caregiver, not only in her professional life but also within her family, where her proudest accomplishments were her children and loved ones.
As a pastor's wife, Sherry supported her husband and community for many years. A devoted member of Northside Baptist Church, Sherry's faith and dedication were evident in her life and in the lives of those she influenced.
Her personality shone brightly as she shared her time between taking care of children and enjoying moments with her family.
Sherry is preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Hughland Howard, Jake Howard, Ola Dean Stubbs, Mary Hilton, Charlene Rahn and husband, Oscar Rowe, Jr.
She is survived by:
Daughters, Rhonda Moore (Bill) of Live Oak, Florida
Angie Edwards (Kenny) of Glennville, Georgia
Grandchildren, Seth Edwards (Audrey), Claire Barnard (Tyler), Caleb Edwards, Jacob Edwards
Great- Grandchildren, Rae Edwards, Rhett Edwards, Tylee Kate Barnard, Kent Barnard
Several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins also survive.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 am, Saturday, May 24, 2025 at Brannen Family Funeral Services. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, May 24, 2025 at the chapel of Brannen Family Funeral Services. Burial will follow in Grace Baptist Church Cemetery.
