Shirley Caison

Shirley Folsom Caison, 84, passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2021, at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah after a long illness. Born in Glennville, she lived most of her life in Long County with her husband, which preceded her in death, Gene Caison. She was a long time member of Rye Patch Baptist Church. Along with her husband, she is also preceded in death by her mother, Essel Nobles Folsom, father, Oren Folsom, and siblings, Madera Moody, Harold Folsom, Mildred Long and Gene Folsom.

She is survived by, two sons, Steve Caison (Beth) of Yatesville, Georgia and Tim Caison (Gary Mull) of Atlanta, Georgia; three grandchildren, Whitney, Luke and Hannah, several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Rye Patch Baptist Church with visitation one hour prior. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers: Kenny Long, Luke Caison, Bobby Folsom, Jay Folsom, Joe Folsom, Irbie Moody

Social distancing of six feet due to Covid 19 will be enforced and masks are asked to be worn on all services.

Care and services are entrusted to Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home of Glennville, Georgia.
