Talmadge J. Todd

Talmadge J. Todd, 92 passed away Friday, June 2, 2023 at Coastal Manor Nursing Home in Ludowici, GA surrounded by his family.  He was born in Glennville, Ga February 25, 1931, to Arnie and Minnie Todd and lived here most of his life. Talmadge retired from Greyhound Bus Lines and was a farmer.  He was a loving husband, daddy, granddaddy and great-granddaddy. Talmadge was a member of Beards Creek Primitive Baptist Church and led the song service many years.  He is preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Patricia Todd Gore.

He is survived by:

Wife of 73 years, Carolyn Durrence Todd of Glennville, GA

Children: Kathy (Randall) Dillard of Marietta, GA
                Beverly (Glenn) Smith of Glennville, GA

Grandchildren:  Amy (Lee) Quick of Glennville, GA
                          Evan Smith of Glennville, GA
                          Krista (Jason) Schick of Marietta, GA
                          Brooke (Jamey) Pritchard of Fairfax, VA

Great Grandchildren:  Caralea Quick, Cade Quick, Lenora Gill

Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at Brannen Family Funeral Services. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. at the chapel of Brannen Family Funeral Services with Elder W. H. Durrence officiating.  Burial will follow in Beards Creek Church Cemetery.

Though no amount of time is ever long enough, we’re thankful to GOD for ALL the years we were blessed to share and for our precious memories.
