Tammy Susan Burke

Tammy Susan Burke, 62, passed away on December 9, 2023, at Signature Health Care in Savannah, Georgia. She was born on February 15, 1961, in Savannah, Georgia to James Joseph and Elaine Blanton Burke and lived here all of her life. 

Tammy's career spanned in various industries. Beginning in the textile industry as a seamstress, then joining the Georgia Department of Corrections in Claxton, where she served for many years. Tammy also served as the manager at Breeze Convenience Store, where her smile and friendly personality was always a joy to others.

Those who were fortunate to know her would tell you that her love for her family knew no bounds. Tammy cherished every moment spent with her nephews and treasured their presence in her life. Her devotion to family was unmatched, and she always went above and beyond to support and nurture those she loved.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Andy Burke and Mark Burke.

Brother, Joey Burke

Sister-in-law, Jan Burke

Nephews, Bryce and Emmett Burke all of Glennville, Georgia

Numerous cousins and friends also survive.

The family will receive friends beginning at  at 5:00 pm, Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at Brannen Family Funeral Services. A Celebration of Life will be held 6:00 pm, Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at Brannen Family Funeral Services.
