Vera Williams

Vera Emma Rooks Marsh Williams 93 died Thursday May 20, at Ogeechee Area Hospice in Statesboro. Mrs. Vera attended Rosemary Primitive Baptist Church, was a
homemaker, enjoyed quilting and her garden. She especially loved Thanksgiving when
all of her family got together and enjoyed her good cooking. She was predeceased by her
parents John Marshall and Pheriba Brown Rooks, and siblings, Frankie Woodcock, Irene
Lockhart, Marjie Bragg and Bobby Faye McGowan.
Survivors; Son, Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Marsh, their children, Donna (Jeff) Rhodes, their
grandchildren, Chelsey Rhodes Son, Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Marsh their children, Emily (Etienne) Van Derwalt, Jesse Marsh, Laura Marsh, grandchildren, Georgia and Ethan Van Derwalt, Cameron Marsh; Daughter, Judy (Frankie) Tankersley, their children, Joey (Denise) Boyette, Julie (Shane)Miller, grandchildren, Chris, Kelly.
