Virginia Odom

Glennville Virginia Todd Odom, 72, died Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at Evans Memorial Hospital. She was born in Evans County February 13, 1943 to Otis Todd and Dolly Todd and lived in Glennville most of her life. She was retired from the Georgia State Prison System after 40 years of service as a Licensed Practical Nurse with Medical College of Georgia. She was a farmer's wife for many years and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who enjoyed being with her family. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ed Odom; brother, Bill Todd; sonin-law, Eddie Martin. Survivors include: Daughters: Debra Odom and husband, Wayne Duchkar and Donna Dale Odom, all of Glennville Sisters: Jane Anderson and Elaine Kennedy, both of Glennville Sister-in-Law: Gail O. Dasher of Glennville Grandson: Bradley (Mary) Martin of Statesboro Great Grandson: Brycen Martin Several nieces and nephews also survive. Visitation will begin at 2:00 pm, Friday, November 20, 2015 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home with funeral services following at 3:00 pm from the chapel with Rev. Bryan Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in Beards Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Remembrances: Tattnall County Cares, P. O. Box 2356, Reidsville, GA 30453.
