Wanda Nelson

Wanda Margaret Miller Nelson, 90, passed away at her residence surrounded by her family and under the care of Hospice Compassus on December 19, 2016. She was born in Columbia South Carolina December 29, 1925 and lived in Savannah and Richmond Hill for many years. She was a homemaker, loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Survivors include her husband, 1st SGT Retired U.S. Army; Adolph Nelson children, Sheila Nelson Brinkley of Welcome, NC and Roger Eric Nelson Sr. of Glennville GA.
Six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren also survive.
Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm, Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday, December 22, 2016 10:00 am at Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Roger Nelson officiating.
