William Beasley

William "Rusty" Beasley, 46, passed away Sunday, June 11, 2017 at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro. The Candler County native was born October 21, 1970 and had lived in Metter all his life. He was a school teacher and coach for Toombs County High School and loved sports. He was the leader of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, the coach for the 4th place state baseball team of Toombs County High School and a member of the Faith Ministries Freewill Baptist Church.

Mother, Nancy Crosby (Tony) of Metter, Georgia
Brother, Travis Crosby (Lenna) of Leander, Texas
Nieces, Savannah and Taylor Crosby
Visitation will be 5:00 - 7:00 pm, Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at Mettter Pre-8 Gymnasium. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am, Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at the Metter - 8 gymnasium with Rev. Johnny Beasley and Rev. Steven Toole officiating. Burial will follow in the Lake Cemetery.
