William Durrence

William David Durrence, 64, passed away Monday, February 24, 2020 at Memorial Health University Medical Center. David was born October 20, 1955 in Statesboro, Georgia to Jared and Melva Crummey Durrence and lived in Glennville most of his life. He was a 1973 graduate of Glennville High School and worked as civil service at Ft. Stewart for many years, retiring from Ft. Irwin California. David was a member of Glennville First Baptist Church and was a loving son, brother and friend to many. He is preceded in death by his mother, Melva C. Durrence.

Father, Jared Durrence of Glennville

Brother, Dana Durrence of Glennville

Special Friend, Ellen Armstrong of Glennville

Several cousins and friends also survive.

Graveside Funeral Services will be held 2:00 pm, Thursday, February 27, 2020 at Glennville City Cemetery with Rev. Mike Howard officiating.
