Metter
William "Mac" McNure, Jr., 72, died Sunday at his residence.
He was a long time employee of Jimmy Franklin Cheverolet of Metter, enjoyed hunting, fishing and building custom rifles and cartridges and was a member of Nevils United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents William and Reba Mae Stewart McNure.
He is survived by sons, Mike McNure of Nevils community, Billy (Deborah) McNure of Metter, Ricky (Joshlyn) McNure of Nevils community, daughter, Rebecca (Doug) Griswell of Wrightsville. Brother, Harold (Carolyn) McNure of Hopulikeit community, grandchildren, Haley, Lauren, Brittany, Brent, Mason, Marshall and Mitchell.
Graveside funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, 4pm at Nevils United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Tab Smith officiating. Pallbearers will be Mike McNure, Billy McNure, Ricky McNure, Brent McNure, Lynwood McNure, Jr., Floyd Leach.
