Dyril Durrence, 83 passed away Friday, March 18, 2016 at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro. He was born in Glennville February 26, 1933 to Garnie and Sadie Stubbs Durrence and lived in Glennville all of his life. He was a farmer and know all over town for his vegetable gardens. He was retired from the City of Glennville and Georgia Department of Aquiculture at the Glennville Farmers Market. He was member of Loves Chapel Primitive Baptist Church.
He is survived by, Wife of 56 years, Rosie Strickland Durrence of Glennville
Son, Chris (Amy) Durrence of Flowery Branch, GA
Sisters, Maridean Salter of Glennville, GA
Suenell Kezzer of Okeechoobee, FL
Willene Autry of Savannah, GA
Grandchildren, Sarah and Grant Durrence, several nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm, Saturday, March 19, 2016 at Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held 3:00 pm Sunday, March 20, 2016 at the Chapel of Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home with Elder W.H. Durrence officiating. Burial will be in Glennville City Cemetery.
