Willie Tatum

Willie Joe Tatum, 87, died Friday, December 04, 2015 at his residence surrounded by his family and under the care of Ogeechee Area Hospice. He was born in Tattnall County September 8, 1928 to J. Cleveland and Althea Kickligher Tatum and lived in the Mendes Community all of his life. He was a Lifelong Farmer, Timber Harvester a dedicated family man and a member of Pineview Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, 5 brothers, Curtis Tatum, Dwight Tatum, Dewitt Tatum, John C. Tatum, Eugene (Tiny) Tatum, 2 Sisters, Myrtice Tatum Sikes and Merle Tatum Durrence
He is survived by, Wife of 67 years Joan B. Tatum of Glennville, GA
Children, Wayne and wife Pat Tatum
James and wife Sharon Tatum
Dale and wife Debbie Tatum all of Glennville, GA
3 Grandsons, Brad (Christy) Tatum, Nick (Stacey) Tatum, Bryant (Suzanne) Tatum, 5 Great Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 PM, Saturday, December 5, 2015 at Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 pm, Sunday, December 6, 2015 at the Chapel of Brannen Kenendy Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Kimbrell officiating. Burial will be in Pineview Church Cemetery.
